Drum measures 23-24 inches tall with a 12 inch overall diameter (including ring and rope hardware) and an 10.5 inch diameter playing surface. Hand-carved with two African Adinkra symbols on each side; the Gye Nyame symbol (pictured) which represents "Only God Can Judge" or the “supremacy of God,” and the Nyame Biribi which is a symbol of hope meaning “God is in the Heavens.” Made from one-piece sustainably-harvested mahogany, treated goat skin, and non-stretch internally-braided rope.
