The Black Copper Wrench Tunable PVC djembe features synthetic Fiber Skin.  Unlike goat skin, Fiber Skin is not a membrane, therefore will not absorb moisture in the air during periods of high humidity and high dew points.  Fiber skin drums maintain tune regardless of climate fluctuations, therefore do not need to be tuned with the same frequency as goat skin djembes.  Drum measures 23.5 inches tall with a 13 inch overall diameter (including ring and rope hardware) and a 11.5 inch diameter playing surface.  Great bass tones on center head bass strokes due to the wide throat opening on these PVC djembe shells.  Super light weight and durable, making them very easy to lug around.
